How to use a Vision Board to Get What You Want

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board is a powerful way to put the law of attraction to use.  It coincides with your goals and is a powerful tool that helps put you on the fast track to reaching those goals.

Basically, we put images and words up on a board, that correspond to different items we want to have or how we want to feel.

Then we look at the board each day, and our subconscious gets to work on helping us figure out ways to make these goals a reality.

It can include many things like:

-Career goals

-Relationship goals

-Financial Goals

-Home

-Travel

-Spirituality

-Personal Development

-Health

-Education

Why should I have a Vision Board?

Have you ever heard of the Law of Attraction?

Basically, it’s a universal law…just like the Law of Gravity.  What goes up, must come down.

Well, the Law of Attraction basically says, what you think about, you bring about.

So, what are you thinking about each day?

What are you envisioning your life is like?

Do you wake up ready to take on the day or are you constantly thinking about how terrible your life is?

If you’re thinking of the latter, no wonder your life stinks…just being honest.

However, if you’re focusing on what you DO want, instead of what you don’t want, then you’ll notice a HUGE shift in your life.

Focus on your goals, and you’ll see them happen quicker than ever before.

That’s where a vision board comes in.

Remember, how it’s filled with all the things you want in life?

Well, if you will look at it each day and focus on those words and images that you want to experience, then your mind will start figuring out a way to make those goals happen.

Trust me, I’ve used one for about 5 years now and goals I would never have imagined happening, have occurred and I know it’s because I put them on a board and chose to concentrate on making them a reality.

Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand. - Bob Proctor Click To Tweet

How do I make a Vision Board?

If you look at the picture above, you’ll see that making a vision board can be really easy.  You can use google, or get a few magazines out and choose pictures and words that speak to you.

That’s how I used to do it, but for over a year now, I’ve changed it up a bit.

Now, I make a vision board that is more conscious and deliberate.

Instead of a bunch of images that were scattered everywhere, I have been using a systematical approach that takes the same amount of time, but more thought and reflection on my part.

I break mine up into squares and each one coincides with a specific chakra in our body. This helps me focus on ALL aspects of my life, like what will help me feel grounded and secure. What will help me feel creative, healthy, achievement, love, and purpose?

I’ve found that doing this, helps me feel centered and complete.

Also, typically, people will make a vision board for the year, or for six months.

Instead, I make one that is constantly changing.

As soon as one item is accomplished, I take it down and put it in a success binder, to remind myself that I CAN and DO achieve my goals, and then I replace that item with a new one and I get to work on making that one a reality too.

I thought my old vision board worked well…but now I’ve seen a MASSIVE shift in how much quicker my goals have been reached ever since I’ve changed to this new type of vision board.

You may wonder how in the world you can go about creating a vision board that is this awesome!?
